A few days ago I noticed my feather duster's crown was just hanging down. The following day it did not come out of its tube all day. The following day, up until now, it's been looking like this:

Does it look good? Ive read stories on people's worm loosing their crown and then leaving their tube, mine hasn't done that.... How long does it take for it to regrow its crown.

Oh, and is it normal for peppermint shrimp to be almost translucent. I remember seeing them deep red like. Mine used to be red but when it molted its shell, it turned almost clear. It was also carrying eggs now it's not:(

Reguarding the peppermint, they do turn grey when under stress. When my hymenocera molt with eggs the "eggshells" usually molt off with it (usually a couple days after releasing fry)

Fanworm's crowns do grow back, same case.. they lose their crowns when under stress (such as being attacked) The time it takes to grow back varies, but it's shockingly fast IME.

The peppermints don't look grey. They look more clear. Like ghost shrimp. When the lights are on. When the moonlights are on, they look more red BC of their veins.

The worm was leaving its tube, then I tapped on the glass and went back in. It was about 1/2 out.

He head area was horrible looking and the whole thing fell apart as I was taking it out out of the aquarium. Half of its body came apart. :/
