ok my duster that i have had for about 7 months droped his head ,the thing is i thought the one it droped was dead, not the case it has moved 3 times now so nudged it myself and it moved about i took it out from under the L/R it was on and it moved back to the rock.i did notice about a month ago it had split into 2 different heads in its tube but i always thought the tube split.anyone ever have this before,i am just trying to figure should i leave it or will it die off with no tube.

they build the tubes themselves, and it sounds like its reproduced via splitting. I get this alot with my giant dusters. Dont worry, what youll see is that both worms will move away'leave the old tube and proceed to build new ones seperately..
