feather duster eating starfish

i was wondering if any of you have ever had a marble sea star feed on your feather dusters or feather duster clusters? A few weeks ago i purchased a fromia and by now it has consumed about 3/4 of a baseball sized feather duster cluster. It spends about 50% of the time on the cluster. After every time its done feeding it reduces the cluster in size by about 3-5 feather dusters (so i am positive that it was the starfish eating the dusters). Anyway, just wondering if this is a common behavoir in fromias? Also i do have a dwarf feather duster(pinkish, purple kind) that hasnt been touched.

I hate to say this but if you found something it eats, that is news in itself. Otherwise, it may well be doomed in a small tank I am afraid. Its diet is thought (and appears to be) quite specific, and though small, it tends not to do well long term in small tanks. It is interesting if it eats the feather dusters.
