feather duster excreting white stuff

So my feather duster is excreting a white liquid, it almost looks like smoke...What is it? Should I be worried?

I have seen feather dusters do this when stressed (by moving or some rapid change in the tank). Once the stressor was removed, they stopped and were perfectly healthy.

It's a defense mechanism, I wouldn't be worried.
Or you could give your little guy props for finally getting off

More than likely stress has forced a spawning event. (not defense but survival mechanism) You typically need to supplement small tanks like that with Phyto to keep feather dusters healthy
