Feather Duster Survival?

I just recieved my live rock, and placed it in my tank. I began to view all its beauty and then i spotted my first creature in my tank a couple centameter long feather duster. I was wondering if this cool creature will survive the cycleing process, and if it does how can i insure a healthy life. Any help will be apreciated.

i had one come with my live rock i started my cycle with also. he made it threw the cycle no problem. i feed him brine shrimp and he catches the critters in the water also.

i dont know everything there is to know though. i just know mine survived and is growing great

I also had a couple in my LR while my cycle was going and they survived. I didnt target feed or nothing. They are filter feeders. Good luck.
