Featherduster decision / help

When I started my tank up back in Dec, I purchased a few things from IndoPacific Sea Farms to seed my refugium and DT. One of the items was their coraline algae boards... which I don't know if really helped, but i started with dry rock only, and have coraline growing well now.

Was going to get rid of the boards now since the are ugly and seem to have enough in tank now, but.... on one off the boards I have 3 feather dusters that came as hitch hikers. The good news is some seem to have separated and found homes in my DT rock.

See attached pic. Is there are way to remove the duster from the board, or is it doomed to living on the board. And if I can't remove, what do I do? I don't want too I'll them, but don't want to keep that in my DT or fuge forever...

run a razorblade under their tube until it pops loose. That is what I have always done.

(between the tube and the board)

Are you happy with the results of seeding the tank with IPSF items? Would you recommend this? I have a couple week old completely dry rock tank and was thinking of going that route. Would you do anything different or are there for sure does you recommend if using them?

Everything I got worked out pretty good. Particularly happy with the coraline seed, but also their spaghetti worms. I'd recommend them.

Sandsifter goby

Sandsifter goby

I recently bought a sandsifter goby and the three featherdusters that I have lost their feathers. My question is can all that sand cause stress on my dusters?
