Following Matt with the January free frag.

I am going to offer a free frag of Atlantis Blue Polyp Cap each frag is going to be unmounted and around 1-2", please if you already have it please let others who don't have it go first.

I think this is a great tradition that Matt started, I hope that it continues

Thanks.

Ade :D

Sure Mike no problem, I still have the one that you gave me, I don't think that it will ever get like yours is. It still looks good.
You can add it to the free frag for FEB.

Definately would like to grab a frag, my tax return is coming soon and I will be getting something nice to frag for all those who have been so generous to me.

ade I'll try one but will need a week or so, chad nd i are thinking of taking mine down this weekend and getting rid of my sand and dipping my rock in fresh water to get rid of those peskey starfish

dang, pulling out the big guns...

from the atlantis page:
Tyree Baby Blue Polyp Monti
Cap Limited Eddition

This peice is green with the
brightest blue polyp's weve seen on
any cap! very fast growing!

FRG-208
1"-$70 1.5" $90- 2"$100

I have had a nitrate problem every since setting up my tank and think that instead of killing everything like i was going to do, i'll try the sand and cleaning the rock, replinsh w/ new saltwater

Have you tried a Refugium with a lot of cheato and macro algaes? I did this and dropped my nitrate to near zero, I really don't think taking out your sand will help. I have a regular sand bed in my tank and a DSB in my refuge. I would definately try a refuge before removing the sand, however it isn't my tank and if you don't want sand then pull it out! :-) BTW, The skimmer is doing awesome, thank you so much!

If you are going to take out the rock and scrub it I would replace your sand bed anyway. IMO anytime you mess up the sand bed moving rocks and such it's a lot cheaper to replace the sand. $50-80 to replace your sand bed or loose $100-1000 in corals.
sjdyer had a problem with corals spawning and growing all over the place, I know what a problem right, reefdadx2 myself and sjdyer took out every piece of rock in the 210 to try and get rid of the problem coral. We messed up the sand bed and only sucked out part of the sand bed, sjdyer lost a ton of corals after that. Table acros, pink lemonade and a bunch of milli. I am sure if he/we could do it all again all the sand would have come out.

ade, is that the same stuff that Chad has a big colony of? or is that the green cap? If its not the same i would also like a smidgen sometime:)

good deal Saboral... glad it's working for you but i can't help but to think if i get rid of the sand and clean the rock, ade maybe i could get some starboard from you . i have several ideas and really want to set up my 90 gallon

Sorry JC that I didn't get back to you sooner, had to help a freind move a tank and just haven't checked RC.
