feed less via isolation?

anyone ever try to limit xs nutrients in the system by: concentrating the feeding around a coral by placing a barrier around it (to limit dispersion in the display) then daily long-duration target feeding via a pump? i suppose circulation around the coral would need to be resumed for a period each day, and the barrier would need to be removed just to be able to view it (pita)....

i know i know, but has anyone tried it????

No, but it sounds as if a tupperware contain type of barrier with a hole drilled might work. My hesitation is contact time.

One of the biggest problems is that many NPS corals, particularly many of the soft corals and gorgonians, require high flow to feed.
