Feedback on Pictilis Anthias (Pseudoanthias Pictilis) please

The LFS brought me in a pair of Pictilis this week and I am looking for a lil bit of real life experience. Male is about 3", female a tad smaller. Both look healthy at this time. They will stay at the store for at least 2 weeks while he works on the feeding and weaning them onto prepared foods if possible. If they look good at that time, I can bring them home to a QT for as long as neccesary.

Main question is this:

1. Aggresion primarily towards other anthias. I would ultimately like them to go into a 220g which currently holds 8 other Anthias. Trio of Bartletts (Male is King of the tank), Trio of Randalls, and a Pair of Tiger Queens (P. Lori). As you know, the Pictilis will grow to be the largest and at the time of adding would be the same size as the others.

Anyother feedback is appreciated.

Thanks!!

my main concern would be keeping them alive. pictillis are incredibly and notoriously difficult.

i'm not sure about aggression because there are just too little documented cases of successful pictillis around.

but they should be shy and don't take aggression well judging on their fragile demeanour and reluctance to feed.

i hope you acquire a healthy pair and looking forward to pictures!
