Mine took his first food today. It was a small piece of raw shrimp from the local grocery store. That being said, what should I feed this guy to keep him at his best? What do you feed your anemone?
many people feed silversides, which work well. i like using a mix of seafood sent through the blender with garlic and vitamins added--get a bag of seafood mix from a local korean food store (no preservatives), blend it, add garlic, selcon, etc, then freeze it in sandwich bags laid flat--about 1/4" thick.
break up little pieces and feed--feed extra cause the fish will go nuts for it. most people say you should thaw it and then spray it with a pipette or turkey baster, i just throw one frozen lump for the fish, and put one frozen lump in the nem.
they all like it (i like cold food too, so i get them
I feed my BTA little frozen fish from my LFS. They come in a pack, I can't remember what they're called...I think you call them Silversides in the US(?)
I just stick a fish onto a tenticle every 2-3 days. Great party trick to show off to guests
