Feeding BTA

Hey Guys,

I have had my BTA for about a month now and have never fed it until tonight, I gave it half a silverside. It sucked it down pretty fast! How often should I feed it? Once a week right?

How much? One whole silverside? Or maybe feed it twice a week, a half each feeding?

feed once or twice a week with finely shredded frozen meaty foods of marine origin.

i feed mine every other day with grind up sea food. i just like them to be fat.lol.

I usually cut silversides up into quarter inch long pieces. I've read that food should be about pea sized. It also depends on the size of the anemone too.

Reason I ask is I fed him the 1/2 silverside and then I seen he spit it out and about half was eaten. I am assuming that it was too big for him to digest/eat. I will try to cut them up to 1/4'' pieces from now on.

I just fed him mysis/formula one and he seemed to like that...

I'll try again next week!

I agree with the above posters once or twice aweek is fine. I like to vary there diet with mysis, krill, silversides and shrimp.
