Feeding bubble coral.

I am looking into purchasing a bubble coral and have been looking around a little bit and am seeing that target feeding the coral is not needed but will help with growth. I have read that I can feed one "meaty food." What constitutes as "meaty food?" I work in a restaurant where calimari, shrimp, and crab meat are readily available to take a piece every now and then(without being punished for doing so).

Also where would I place the food on the coral, or would the tentacles move the food into the mouth on their own?

I have one of the largest bubble Corel ever seen and have never fed it. I have had it for two years so far in a 150 gal tank. Just my input

I feed mine once every week or two. It has doubled in size in 3 months. Meaty food can be brine or mysis shrimp. Some people chop up some fresh fish. It's one of my favorite corals, I'll post a pic tomorrow.
