Feeding Bubble tip anemones

Hi there, Ive had my RBTA and GBTA for more than a year now and never feed them, they have pretty much kept the same size body.

I want to promote them to grow bigger and split to start trading them since they have great colors and several local reefers want clones.

What should I try feeding the anemones and when?

I have a 48x18x18 reef tank with an ATI 6x54 sunpower...

THX in advance

I've been feeding mine some mysis and brine shrimp about 2-3 times a week. I've heard people say they feed them once a week, but from what I was just told in another thread, feed them basically small meaty foods.

Anemones like to be fed meaty food one a week or once every two weeks.

Silverslides are a good nutritious diet for them.

I have not direct feed my anemones in over a year...I guess they get whatever floats around the tank....

I feed krill or PE mysis once a week. People on this board have had bad experiences with silversides and anemones.

+1. I feed mine about once a week either scallops or shrimp the size no bigger than its mouth

I feed mine bits of raw shrimp and the clowns will feed it m. shrimp. I had my BTA for over a month and it went from 6" to 10"in that time.
