I feed my fish twice a day in the morning and at night! When I feed my fish I wait until they are done then I feed my corals! My clown even though he has eaten what seems to be enough he insists on taking food from my Duncan and sun coral! To the point where he is pulling it out of there mouths! He has damaged a couple tenticals and I dont want him beating up my corals! Or starving my sun coral to death!lol I would love to hear about others feeding technique so I can make sure all my tanks inhabitants are happy and healthy!

I think I'll let someone else with more experience on this answer cause that was the only suggestion I could think of.

Once your fish realize that they can steal food it can be really tough to feed certain corals. Only real way to do it is to make a feeding bell out of a cut up 2 liter soda bottle top. You cut it tall enough to fit the coral and punch a few holes in it so it isn't stagnant. Then a lil fishing line and a small piece of rubble to weight it. Spot feed and cover till its done eating

my clowns do the same thing so i dump a bit of food on one end of the tank, and while they are eating, i spot feed the corals on the other side. then switch sides and repeat. every once in a while i have to chase a fish with the turkey baster if they get a little to brave.

When I feed my corals I wait until my lights go off then I feed my corals after I turn off my skimmer and return pump. Keeping my power heads turned on.
