Feeding mushrooms...

I have a 110 gal tank with at least 100 lbs of live rock - tank set up for a 18 months.... Everything is fine, but I would really like to see my mushrooms flourish and they just won't "go anywhere".

I only have 265 watts of light on it and also the help of natural sunlight for a few hours a day - which is why I know I can't count on Zoo's or alot of other corals flourishing. I know the tank conditions are in "good shape", basic water tests are fine, fish are fine, and surprisingly, my BTA has gone from baseball size to splitting and both sections are now softball size - over that year period.

The mushrooms I have are similar to these....

My question is... What store bought products would be recommended to ensure my live rock and mushrooms are getting what they need. I would actually like to see half my tank covered!!

I have the same mushrooms growing in an unlit tank in a brightly lit room and under 400W SE MH lighting.

As I see it, the brighter the light the faster the mushrooms grow and split.

Best of luck,

Roly

I think some mushrooms are the other way around they need a little shade. However I do not have that many shrooms.
