Feeding Question

Hi all,

I have two clowns in QT before they go in the display tank. The LFS was feeding them Formula One frozen food (the green squares) so I decided to keep them on the same diet. I am feeding them about 1/8 of the square per day. Is that enough/too much?

What other recommendations do you have for clownfish feeding?

I am very new to the hobby and I don't want to mess up with the feeding... :)

Thanks!

are they eating it all in a few seconds? if so, then that is better than letting excess food fall to the tank bottom to decompose.

i always overfeed my fish...and i fight nitrates because of it! you may find that if you can maintain low nitrates, your fish eat all the food immediately, and they look healthy, that you are feeding an appropriate amount!

good luck!
