Feeding RBTA

Just got my first Rose Bubble tip and have been trying to get it to take a small silver side. Placed in tank Saturday afternoon and it moved to hiding between some LR. I have fed some Mysis Shrip with a coral feeder bulb and it appears to have fed a small amount. today it has moved partially out of the hiding but after several attempt to get it to take the silver side it just does not seem interested and just let go. Any newby segestions would be helpful.
Water peramiters are all good with water change Sunday.

Welcome to reefcentral!

Give it moderate flow, feed it around 3 times per week and keep your tank parameters stable. However, I would stop using the silversides and feed it something a bit more "fresh." I have been reading on these threads lately that people mistakenly feed their healthy anemone a "bad" silverside and often times the anemone gets very sick as a result. I would switch over to fresh krill, shrimp and fish.

I personally use fresh and or frozen shrimp for my carpet and bta. If you use frozen don’t forget to thaw it out... usually a small piece will take 10 mins in my sump. I usually put it in a plastic cup with water from the tank and let it float there… if you forget about for too long don’t feed it.
