Feeding red feather star

So I'm having a big problem in my hands. My red feather star is not eating!

I got it yesterday and was told it eats phytoplankton so I had no worries, but when I squirted some phyto nothing happened, it didn't eat. Neither did it eat any of the prepared frozen food with small krill I offered it.

Really need help!

In my opinion you should return it. Unless your system is designed keep NPS corals you will not be able to meet the nutritional needs of the feather star long term while maintaining water quality. It's a slow starvation without a constant supply of fine suspended particles available. I suspect your feeding too large of particles, think reef snow sized.
A beautiful majestic invert, but best left in the wild, avoid creating a market for them.
