Feeding schedule

So - getting the following fish tomorrow from liveaquaria

2 clowns
1 yellow tang
1 firefish
1 purple dottyback
1 hectors goby

I got some pellets, frozen brine, frozen mysis and some seaweed sheets.

Can you help me guide some on the feeding schedule.

once a day?
every other day?
The seaweed sheet would be 2 - 3 times a week?

i am hoping if there is any left over food - the hermits/snails will eat that.

you will get varied responses, but I give my fish Nori each morning (missing maybe 1 or 2 days per week, if I'm in a hurry), and feed them each night the mixture of other foods. you can skip days no problem, but IMO the habit of feeding at least one time each day is enough to keep them happy, with the occasional missed day.

Once a day is fine IME. Nori one day, mysis the next, pellets the day after that.

You might want to add some Spirulina flakes to the menu as well. GL.

what size tank are you putting that many fish into at once?

you can feed it once, twice or three times a day. all up to you. but at LEAST once a day. mix the foods together or different food on different days.

sea weed every other day is fine.

I have a bunch of anthias so I feed 5 times a day

The frozen mysis or brine -

Do I melt it In a cup of water from DT and pour it in? Or just drop a frozen cube in there?

I use DT water or RODI that i use for auto top off to melt the cube and then strain the contents. after straining it i soak it in garlic gaurd and plop it into the tank. sometimes i target feed my nems so i use a kent marine target feeder but.. its basically just a fancy turkey baster!
