I just finished cycling and I was going to buy about 20 various snails and 3 emerald crabs. There is some hair algae and a diatom bloom creeping across the sand but besides that not much algae growth and absolutely nothing on the glass. I have 20 lbs of live rock that has some algae and 50 lbs of base with nothing on it yet. So I am guessing that this will not be enough to keep them alive and healthy. What would I feed them to sustain them until I get a larger algae outbreak? There are no fish in the tank.

your snails feed on algae and other things in the live rock and they will find in the sand
