At first I used to feed him salmon once a week then after a few months I stopped. You don't need to feed them, they can catch floating food but all they really need is good water and lighting.

I feed mine pieces of krill once or twice a week

Mine catch fish food pellets or frozen mysis. I feed Tropical Bionautic. And I find I get an anemone convention forming under the feeder, so they do seek the best spot to catch food.

I also feed Chopped raw shrimp. Went to WholeFoods, bought 2 shrimp for $1, and cut then froze them all into little pieces. Feed 1 piece every week or so. Those 2 shrimp will last about 6 months :lmao:
