feeding?

do i need to feed my green mandsrin any prepared food? hes been doing great for about 3 months now without and the guy who i got him from had it for a year without any prepared food and it was doing great. just recently though he dissapeared in the rocks for about two weeks and he just came out the other day looking very skinny. idk what happened. any help would be great

he might have ran out of pods to eat, youll have to trai it to eat frozen foods tho

k. the other thing i just though of is that i moved the rock a little right before he dissapeared. is it possible that he got smashed inbetween a couple of rocks?
