Okay here is another question I have this pertains to feeding. My tank is mostly softies, a few LPS, and I am starting to gather quite a few SPS. I guess for this thread I am more or less looking for the routines people follow in there feeding habits. Things I would like to know.
1.) Frequency of feeding

2.) Time of feeding

3.) What foods are used

4.) Brands of foods or supplemental things used in feeding.

5.) Target feeding or just feed the whole tank.

Now i do understand that LPS, Sofites, and SPS are feed differently so if that various please let me know. I am just looking for what works best in feeding for growth on some of these things. Let me know

Justin,

I run a mixed tank and thus far it's doing pretty good.

My regimen is noiree (tenera blue as it is not processed like the stuff for human consumption and has all the nutrients) in the morning for the fish. (remember fish poo is coral food too)

Then in the afternoon, about an hour before my MH go off I feed Mysis, a little bit of Cyclofreeze, and 1/3 a dose of Phyto (I use brightwell Phytochrome as it has done much better than DT's for my tank).

I target feed my shrooms, sun corals, candy cane, acans, ect.... with a turkey baster kind of thing.

Then before bed, after the actinics have come out and the moonlights have come on, I feed the remaining 2/3 dose of Phyto and twice a week target feed Mysis as well.

Once a week I dose Julian Sprung's Iodine supplement for iodine and Manganese as I have a few corals that require it.
