Yes, there were some Bryopsis in this frag tank about few weeks ago. But they were decreasing in amount. I removed them almost every week when I see any in this tank. Another skill to control is to cover the area exposed in the tank with corals. The less the spare area exposed, the less Bryopsis would grow. Hope you will soon defeat them like I did!
Two reasons for the zoa affinity. One is the colorful look of the zoas. Not all the invertebrates can show so many colors in one single polyp. And there are so many color combinations which lead to a great diversity for collection. The second reason is that we can easily buy nice zoas locally in Taiwan. I had another post here called "Native zoanthids in Taiwan". A lot of famous zoa species can be found in Taiwan. And that is why I enjoy collecting all those beautiful creatures.
