I just got 2 shipments of zoas and most are opening up and looking good. But my pink nebulas and some others wont open at all, they aein the same area as others in my frag tank but they just wont open. I would of blamed the leds being to strong but other zoas are fine any thoughts?

I would dip the frag in that picture in a H2O2 solution to get rid of the algae. Perhaps the algae is irritating it (?).
10% hidrogen peroxide (3% H2O2 from store) and 90% fresh water for a minute.

is that whats causing it then because i was inspecting it earlier and i scraped the algae off and blew it away with a turkey baster i will upload another pic to see if it looks better. anyways and what is hydrogen peroxide and h202 ?? would they sell it at convenience store? surely the chemicals would **** the zoo off even more??

Look also for predators, like fishes and others...

H2O2 is the formula for hydrogen peroxide.
Hydrogen peroxide from your drug store, one the counter.
3% hydrogen peroxide.

no fish in frag tank and i gave each coral a small iodine dip nothing came out of that frag and only 1 small bristle worm came out of another frag and oh ok great

do you mean 1:10 ratio of HP to fresh water ,,please clarify "fresh water"..sorry to high jack

I would match temperature first.IMO very important step for any dip procedure.
Some ppl match pH too.
Good luck.

if your water parameters are good then just place in a shaded area or very low light area till they open up, if they don't open up after that then its due to stress from fragging, shipment, acclimation or it was dying to begin with. Good luck :)
