Fighting clowns...

I had "rescued" a pair of Maroon Clown from a tank that was given away. The fish were perfectly fine. Now in my tank they fight over the Anemone and the smaller clown's tail is taking a beating... These 2 fish have been together for over 3 years. The previous tank did not have and anemone..
Hmm what to do... any ideas would be appreciated..

Add another anemone???

how big was the old tank that they were "rescued" from?

If the tank is bigger than your current tank, that could be the issue but from you sig, you have a 75 gal tank....

Yeah, they came from a 75 Bow front tank... And yes I have a 75 gallon. They just seem to be fighting to get to the anemone...

just seperate the male for about a week ina specimen container. i find that to work fine when he is realease back. the tail will grow back fast.
