Fighting conch and clams OK?

My new clam tank has a diatom outbreak. I just ordered 2 fighting conches, and reason not to put them in the clam tank and let them clean up? Do they eat clams?

Fighting conches are herbivores, they wont eat clams. I dont see any reasons why not to put conches in your clam tank.

I just happened to be reading a little about these today on ORA's website. They too said that the fighting conch will not bother a clam. So you should be cool. I want one for my reef.
