I have a 75G tank with a 4-6"dsb. I had it set up for two years prior to relocating, and now have it up and running once again. (substrate, and lr are all new). After cycling I added 4 turbo snails, 12 Nassarius, 6 Cirinth, 6 Astrea. and 1 fighting conch.
I had a fighting conch in my old tank, but he was only about 1" in length. He did a great job on the dsb, and I enjoyed having him in the tank. The one I received from a very reputable online vender is huge! He's 2.5-3" long!! I'm wondering if I should swap him for something at a local lfs. I'm afraid that he's a bit too big for a 75G tank. I don't want him eating beneficial things from the dsb, and I have no interest in "spot feeding" someone I purchased to help clean up. Is he too large? Or should I keep him?
