Fiji Gold Live rock supplement???

i was wondering if anyone has ever used this product? When i use it as suggested it seems to settle on the sand bed and i think it actually starts the growth of algae looks like diatom algae to me. Not sure cuz i have decent flow in my tank and mix it in water b4 adding to the tank.

Never used it, but i've made kind of a point not to use all the crazy additives, not because it will necessarily hurt your tank, but more so because I think they are just created by companies to prey on those who don't know any better and will just buy it all off the shelf.
