While working in Fiji I had the chance to dive and take a few pics with a cheap camera.

Ohhhhhhhhh, the Banded Sea Krait is a magnificant animal... While one of the most deadly species of snake on the planet (in the top 3-4) it is actually a very docile animal that has rarely ever been known to bite a human, and then it's only when in full self-defense mode.

I understand they are also quite a delicacy.

Hey....(Bula!),
Even with your "cheap camera" you managed to capture some interesting shots! I love the pictures of the rose bta cloned anemones and the giant clam! Wow - what a beauty.
So it looks like you did some diving on the Coral Coast? Most interesting!... Did you dive straight out from Crusoe's Resort or did you travel a distance? I've always been told that the diving on Viti Levu is less-than-great. What did you think? I'd be most interested to hear your opinion. Was it murky? How were the coral gardens? From the road (and from your picture), it looks like very shallow fringing reef and then a wall drop-off.
Thanks again (vinaka)!
Scott
PS You got a great shot of the sea krait. I've dived over a hundred dives in Fiji and I've only seen one krait in all my dives - and it was my very first dive. Lucky you!
