hello! i am spending five days in figi in january on my way home from new zealand and was wondering if someone who has been scuba diving there could offer any recommendations?
Haven't been there but recommend you check the State Department's site. They had a military coup a while back and some areas might not be too safe......no knowledge on my part just remembered seeing it.
Fiji is totally awesome for both diving and snorkeling. The reefs are amazing and full of SPS. I highly recommend it.
I was there last year during the coup and everyone was smiling and no guns in sight. I think they have yearly coups that are non violent.
