Fish?
Does anyone one have any experience with these? What are your thoughts?

I have one, NOT REEF SAFE! Haha. As soon as all your aptasia is gone, he'll go after almost everything else. Well except sps. He never touched any of that. Mine is currently residing in the fuge where I will randomly put in LR that has aptasia on it for removal.

Had one for maybe 4 months, he ate every last aptisa and majano that where on the rocks, but when that was done he started to eat my acans so back to the fish store he went!

DANGER DANGER WILL ROGERS HAHA I had one and it went after one or two aips then everything it saw and trust me they are not easy to get out. They wedge themselves and camouflage very well. I had to rip my entire tank apart to get it out

ditto to the last 4 posts. Really neat fish, i loved to watch it change color. Unfortunately they belong in a fish only display.

I had one, got rid of all aptasia, then all zoas/palys, when he started to go after my lps, back to the store he went.

Best way to get it out is to wait until lights off. Leave your lights on in the room but tank lights off. They like to chill near the top of the tank at night. Just dipped the net in and grabbed him.

Mind you this was after MANY unsuccessful attempts. It was a last ditch effort before tearing the LR down.

The big 30,000g reef tank in Atlantis Marine World has a bunch of filefish. The keepers told me that they will eat any LPS that they put in, but they didn't bother the SPS and softies much.

I'll take this as my mulligan... haven't had one yet.

I went in for Pepermint Shrimp (Lysmata Wurdemanni), which they were out of, and I ended up leaving with this fish.

I didn't do my research as much as I should have. Shame on me.

I'll see if he can/will put a dent in my aiptasia population and then bring him back... or maybe someone on here would like him for their FOWLR display? Or even a lit refugium with Aips in it.
