Filter Bags - Mesh vs Felt

I recently grabbed a few of the felt filter bags (100micron) and replaced the floss/pad combo I had been using on my drains.

Cleaning these things is a pain (I only have 3 right now), even when they are turned inside out.
I have heard people say to use the washing machine, but I would prefer not to (doubt the Ms would like it either).

I recently saw some people suggesting the Nylon Monofilament 100 micron mesh bags as an alternative (easier cleaning). According to the website where you can purchase them, the monofilament bags have an efficiency of 90%, the felt are not rated.

Has anyone used the Nylon monofiliment bags who has also used the felt bags and can give a comparison?

Is anyone interested in a combined order? There is a 25% discount at 25-99 items and a40% discount at 100+ items (of same type).

Item NMO100P4POSS is $3.90 each without discounts.
I was planning to order about 10.

Correct. That is the site.

Their distribution center is in Indiana so shipping is only one day.

They offer a 25% discount for more than 25 pieces and you can mix and match. The discount goes up to 40% for over 100.

I will let you know how I like them once I have used them for a cycle or two.

So there was a mix up in the fulfillment department and we ended up with someone else's order (the packing list was right, but the contents were wrong).
I called them up right away, they were still open since they are in California.
She was very nice about the issue and promised to have the correct ones sent out first thing the next day. She even added two extra bags for free ($8 value).

As promised two days later (one day shipping from Indiana warehouse) I had a new box with the contents that matched my order plus my extra two.
They had even offered to ship them overnight, but I told her it was not necessary since UPS ground was one day service anyway.

The first shipment had been 200 micron Polyester Felt bags (size 4). I used one of these while I waited on the new shipment. It worked well, although my skimmer went nuts for a few minutes at first (even with a rinse).
As the other felt bags I had used, it worked OK and slowly began to turn brown up the sides. As it is used, the water level rises due to the pores on the bottom being clogged.
The only way you can see what is in the bag is by looking down from the top.

When the new shipment arrived, I installed the 100 micron Nylon Mono filament mesh bags (size 1) on my other two drains. I like these bags better so far.
Mainly because the mesh is very thin in contrast to the Felt and you can easily see what is trapped inside them (snails, pods, possibly fish, etc). Cleaning them is also much easier. Nothing really gets trapped in the fibers like the felt and you just turn them inside out and spray them with the hose for a minute.

All of the filter bags come with a plastic ring at the top. It has a little tab to make it easier to pull them out of the housing they are intended for. It is a flexible plastic and has not gotten in the way of their use so far. It actually gives you something convenient to clip to to hold the bags in place.
Now I just need to find a plastic clip that will hold up to the abuse.
I have them tied in place with some cord right now.

All things considered, I am very happy with the purchase. They were quick about correcting the order mixup, they provided a few extra items for my trouble, the items are well constructed and are working very well so far.
Without the mix up I would have rated this an A+, given how they handled it, I would still rate it an A.

On a side note, she confirmed the 40% discount applies to any 101+ items ordered at the same time. They do not have to be the same item, you can mix and match different microns, sizes, and materials.
