filter media and skimmer

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard of or has experience with these products:

Purigen:

For the filter media, I wanted to know if it is possible (if i get some kind of nylon bag) to put it in a canister filter?

the purigen comes in 100ml bags that treat 100gal, or get larger bottle ang use a nylon bag. Purigen is a great product. i have never used rowaphos, but i hear it works good. the skimmers work great also, i have used all the different size in aquariums i've set up. make sure to buy it with pump.

awsome, do you know if you can put them in a canister filter? If I put them in a bag?
