I'm sort of lost. I just finished taking down my custom nano cube, yet larger, around 45 gallons, and was wondering what to run for a filter in the back that is very similar to a nano cube. There is a rear compartment about 5" by 18" that is between the back of the tank, and a faux back 5" from the actual rear. Also that is divided into two compartments, one for the skimmer I already own, but the larger area that also houses the return pump previously had 4 shelves about 4" tall each so you could layer bio balls to run a wet/dry. I found out that a wet/dry setup was not the best of ideas for a reef so, what media/setup would you think will be the most efficient and keep the least amount of algaew growth possible in the display?
Thank you :)
