Filter sock material

Could someone let me know what matterial sock would be the one to get for a filter sock...I have a couple now and they are made out of almost a cloth like matterial. I was going to order bulk so I can have them at hand and I noticed alot of dif materials....could someone let me know which is best and If any one could tell me if there is a better place online to buy them.....thanks

Bulk Reef Supply has both kinds -- mesh and felt. I use the felt ones because I feel like they catch more but really, either is fine, they just work a little differently.

+1. The felt seems to catch more but the mesh are easier to clean.

+2 on the felt. To me the mesh ones (or at least the mesh ones I've seen) have large holes that let too many finer particals pass.
