filtration for Hypo Tank

filtration for Hypo Tank.

Well it looks like my display has Ich. Blame me i guess.

I am setting up a used 75RR for a Hypo Tank. What do I do for filtration? I am planning on running a Emperor 400 bio wheel along with the 15 gallon sump below the tank.

But how long will the bio wheel take to cycle? and what else should I do for filtration?

What do you suggest?

this tank is not the display i take it, if it was me keep it simple i have a penguin bio-wheel for my hypo tank, could take a week to cycle, use the main tank water to kick start the cycle, i would ditch the sump

Since My bio wheel is not cycled can I add a few big pieces of Tufa rock that have been in my sump for 6 months. I am doing Hyposalinty.
