Hey all,
I have just set a 35 gallon FOWLR tank. Currently I only have LR and LS in the tank. I have 35-40 lbs. of a mix of Fiji and Tonga rock in, and about 40 lbs. of sand (10 lbs. being LS). I am running a CPR BAK-PAK skimmer; my question is - do you think it is necessary to use a filter? I have going to use a canister filter, but some advise against it, while others recommend it. I was only going to stock my tank with two ORA's, a Royal Gramma, a Firefish, two peppermint shrimp, and a chocolate chip starfish.
thanks.
