Filtration on 10g

I've got me an empty 10 gallon tank laying around, thinking of setting it up. I'm wondering which filter out of the two to go with; the Skilter filter or the new TAAM Rio Nano skimmer?

I have an old BakPak on a ten gallon, with a sump and fuge too.

My other ten gallon with no filtration other than live rock and a DSB stays cleaner than the skimmed tank .
