fin rot

My clown has developed fin rot. I have furan 2, will this treat my clown effectively? Can I give the clown a bath or do I have to treat in a QT with this medicine?
The problems in the tank have been addressed and with many wc and a new pump things are looking good, is there a chance the clown can recover with out treating? He is looking good and eating good.
has shown frayed fins for about 3 days now, cloudy eyes for a week and no more whitish slime on body.

peroxide dip in a tray for 5 min with tank water 2 capfulls

What do you mean by tray? What about a bowl? How much tank water? Have you used this method with a clown before, or another type of fish? Just heard clowns have a more sensitive skin type, and can be more sensitive to certain medicines.
