and Not sure if i should Drill my refugium or get an Nano Overflow box ?









This tank is gonna be for my SEXY SHRIMPS..




Then comes the Refugium.. Which i want to be seen . I love watching the Pods,and Critters. Just don't know if

i should Drill ahole for the flow or get an overflow box for it ???




Sump..I'm gonna have drinage go into this OLD sump i had that i cut in half.
will have rubble rocks and in bottom a filter pads.





and the end of sump will be my ATO box

That very much depends on where the hole is being drilled and what it will be used for. Are you going to be using a bulkhead in the proposed hole? If so, take your measurement off that, as they are not all created equal.

Very interesting looking set-up you have, though a decided lack of details. Us nerds need numbers and makes and models for everything.

i meant , what size bulkhead should i use a 1" or 3/4 " ?? From there i plan on running another drainage pipe in the sump

Where is the water coming from/going to? At what rate will water be flowing through this fitting? Is there a pump connected to it or is it merely a drain? If it's to be a drain, will you put a stand pipe on the bulkhead to control water level?

It will be coming from the top small tank, with the red coral presently in it.
I have 2 3/4 drain pipe going down into tank see pic below..
I fig maybe a 1 3/4" being its a refugium it need slow water flow..

Almost done with gluing the Pipes...

Got a Question do you think i can get away with this . The over flow box , output Bulkhead i don't want to glue it for easy removal. I put Teflon tape . what do you think ??
