Finally out now what is this crab?

I have been trying to get this crab out since that first day I saw him. Finally now that I have giving up I found it dead on the bottom of my tank, lol weird how that stuff happens. Wondering what he was now and if he was bad or good?

Not sure what that is, but I think it's a bad one.
If im correct, black tips=not reef safe.

Well it looks exactly like an emerald, minus the colors. Interesting... Usually if something has an odd coloration it's trouble. Best to be safe!

Looks like a rock crab to me. My mom's tank got one as a hitchhiker. Was fine till he grew out of his food supply. That jerk cost us about $150 in fish till we caught on it was him. flush him!

yea its him its pretty dense its got mushy stuff on the inside the other molts were just a shell

He looks like a guy I can't remove from my rockwork that liked eating my millepora. I'd say sump him.

Guygettnby, are they related to emerald crabs at all? The body looks so similar if you just paint it green.

yea some of people missed the part about him sitting at the bottom dead. but I threw him in the sump anyways lol
