When I was setting up my aquapod I came across a post where someone suggest a finger leather dominated tank as something unique to setup. I liked the idea and put it on the backburner due to space limitations in the pod. Now 2 years later I will be graduating in May and plan on upgrading to a 40 breeder with sump and have come back to this idea thinking it would make for an interesting tank.
My first idea is to stock the tank with the frags I have now plus any that grow in the meantime along with some kenya tree coral, other tree corals, torch corals, and other “waving†corals. I also want to use a wave maker and probably three or four Koralia 1 or 2’s to produce a random current that I hope would look nice with everything moving in the current.
Looking for suggestions if this is a good idea or not. Basically I want to see the stuff in my tank moving as much as possible and am not a fan of the sps sticks and other coral like it.
