finger leather

so i have had this coral in my tank for 4 months now. i also have lots of lps and sps too. my leather has not opened up at all but is getting bigger. all my other soft corals are good and getting good growth on all corals. i know leathers slime but the feel is not slimy. i have it under modernity high flow. Lighting is LEDs. i do a 15% water change every 2 weeks.
anything to test for besides cal, alk, ph and the basics. i don't have mag test or iodine. could those levels being off cause this?

If everything else looks good, just give it some more time... They act like this every now & then.

I had the same problem with my finger leather it took about six months to fully open and now is doing great

yup my leathers always grow for about 6 months (how i dont know cause i never see any polyps) but after that they open up and it is like wow....
