Not really.... should be fine.... so long as you go slowly. You be surprised how much ammonia is actually still being produced by your rock.
People often fall into the misconception that once they have zero ammonia / nitrite that all the die of is 100% complete. In reality, what it means is that the system has reached a stage where the amount of waste has been reduced and the level of nitrifying bacteria has increased to levels where they are in balance - so, your LR is still producing ammonia, its just that the bacteria are now strong enough to deal with it - so your kit reads zero......
To that end - your cycled tank will be fine for quite a while, so long as you introcude fish slowly, as your say.
Do you intend having a clean up crew of any sort? If so, now is the time to introduce them.
Something about q-tine that people often don't realise. The main thing we q-tine against is ich. If you take a look at the life cycle of ich you will see that it spends teh majority of its time festering on the substrate, until it erupts sending millions of free swimming cycts into the water. If you purchase clean up crews, corals, macro algae, LR, etc. from a source that keeps fish in with the inverts / corals / rock, then it is just as liely you will introduce ich on those items as it is on new fish.
Hence, to that end, if you plan on having a clean up crew, corals or macro algae (or anything else "wet") in your system, then it is a good idea to get them in now - so they can "q-tine" in your fish free display tank...... whilst at the same time you are q-tining your fish in the q-tine tank.
