Very nice, Dave!
Its got that professional furniture look.

Reminds me a bit of mine. :D

Callme retarded, but why is the woodgrain on the canopy doors running horizontal, but the base doors are vertical ?

Perhaps it is just my trained woodworking eye that picked up on it as a mental "pet peeve" of mine.

Other than that, nice work ! :D

Looks great Dave regardless if the pros find fault with the direction of the grain. Allot better than pre fabed press board

well...because of ordering the doors as an afterthought and the size that was needed the ones on the canopy are on their sides....grain runs horizontal...part of the door grain would have been horizontal anyway.....just not the centers.....thanks all.....

Hey Dave,

not to worry, as you know mine are horizontal too for the same reason! I like not being perfect, makes me feel human!

Very Nice!

I've been contemplating a DIY stand. Weighing the pros and cons. Do you think the $ saved was worth the time spent? Would you do it again?

I guess it could be fun anyway.

< confesses...... I too have built a few like this also as it conserves material. I'm not knocking it, was just curious if it was intentional or planned as such.

I still give huge koodos to anyone who DIY's anything out of wood these days and makes it look professional instead of just running out and buying over priced stands as the number of people who actualy have the ability anymore to do such is so small !

cheers,

D.

definitely worth building your own....it's fun.and you know what you have when you're done.....it will save money...as long as you don't count your own labor...
