Finnex 30g M-tank stand questions

Hi I set up my 30g Finnex M-tank and stand. After filling with water and placing the rocks I find that the tank+stand is tilting forward about 5-6mm or so. In order to explain better, it appears that the front of the tank has sunk in about 5-6mm more in to the carpet than the back. Will this forward tilt cause any problems, especially with the stand? Should I raise the front about 5-6mm? Or is that much of forward tilt acceptable? The tank is filled to normal and has about 35# of live rock in it, no sand.

The floor is concrete with a fairly thick carpet on top. I then placed a carpet protector (the one used in offices) and then placed the stand on top of that. I also used the little circular "legs" for the stand. The tank is placed in the corner of the room like this /-\ where the /\ is the corner of the room and the - the tank.. The carpet protector has sunk in more at the front than the back by about 5-6mm.

Heard back from Finnex and this is what he had to say.

Basically the problem is caused from the floor (carpet). The tank is supposed to sit on a leveled space. It won’t be a bad idea to raise the front.

Hope that helps. Have a great day.
