Fire gobey

I went to a LFS today to buy a fire fish because i want a pair for my otherone in my NC 12 and the owener said that they will kill each other and i thought that was weired because are kepts togather in febs tank of the mounth and they all seem fine

Your tank is 12 gallons. The other tank is more than 1,553 gallons. If you are talking about the february 2006, TOTM. The reason they seem fine in that tank, is they are in an ocean-like setting.
