Fire Shrimp..

Do fire shrimp do better in pairs? I got one at Robs a few weeks ago..and wasnt' sure if I should get him a buddy...he seems anti social..hangs out on the back of a rock in the corner of the tank all day...

Would he hang out w/ peppermint shrimp...or would I have to get him another fire shrimp?

I got him cuz he looks nice...so it kind of sux that he won't come out of the corner..heh.

They tend to be nocturnal, I have two fire shrimp in my tank that hide in a cave. They sometimes come out when I feed.

Yeah..the only time mine has come out so far is when I was trying to give my serpent star a silverside..he wanted it...so I gave it to him he ran right up to my hand for it

I forgot to tell you that they live with my Blue Spot Watchman Goby, which is pretty cool.

I used to have two fire shrimp, but mine were VERY territorial. The bully ended up going to another home since I was worried he was going to eventually stress/kill my other one
