Hi all,
I have a firefish with one white spot on him. Actually looks like a lump, or a pimple. It's about the size of the head of a pushpin. Only one spot, so I'm guessing this is not ich, but I'm new to all of this.
It doesn't appear to be a wound, and he is acting normally as far as eating and swimming. My first thoughts, having not a lot of experience in the diagnosis/treatment arena was that it is either a decent sized parasite or an ulcer of some kind.
I have a fish trap in the tank to see if I can get him out. Assuming I can, can someone suggest a treatment?
Thanks
